Brisbane Skytower, the tallest building in this Australian city, relied in Huawei and Honeywell for the provision of a GPON solution to achieve a smart network inside the building.

Located in Brisbane’s central business district, this iconic residential tower is now a smart building leveraging advanced technology solutions from Honeywell and Huawei to make it more sustainable, secure and energy-efficient, the two companies said.

Honeywell partnered with Madison Technologies to supply and support for the project.
Madison provided design and commissioning assistance utilizing the latest in GPON equipment and fibre optic cabling, connectors and passive devices.
The residents will benefit from extremely fast and reliable broadband services with advanced integration to building management services over the same network infrastructure.
